Sky News has started a campaign to #makedebateshappen, asking for a debate in Parliament to enshrine party leaders debates into our political process. I can understand this from a media perspective, as an election gets closer spectacle politics is more likely to get viewers.
And the US presidential election coverage is interesting, seeing the two main nominees stake their claims on the various policies can absolutely help to decide. I enjoyed watching the 2016 debates, and the sheer difference between the two candidates. Continue reading
